These guys make an umbrella with their wings to shade the waster below. Then they put their head under the umbrella to allow them to see in the water better. They do it every few seconds and I was lucky enough to catch it

This is a fantastic shot!. Such a curious acting bird, doing what humans do all the time looking in/out of windows to remove reflections.
I've been thinking about drawing this bird since I saw it in a video (literally stopped the video after that scene to look up the bird.)

Love these birds XD I saw them on "Life with Birds" Documentary. They arer some cool birds. I forgot the name of this other bird but it follows this breed around hoping to steal it's catch.
Great shot too!

Your welcome. It's a great series and narrated by David Attenborough. It tells all about birds. It was very interesting to hear about this bird.

Well, I was going to bring up some witty comment about the BBC's clip of this type of bird "Night Time....Day Time!" but....it would have been a bit redundant judging by the other comments. ; )
