originally until a dog walker came along without her dog on a leash and spooked it off and then asked that question they makes me want to through them in the water. She said ' I saw you lying there with your camera from way back there, so I thought I would come over to see. What were you photographing? ' and of course the answer is 'Absolutely nothing now'!! ;-(
The amount of times that happens is unbelievable, as I am getting older I am struggling to grit my teeth lol
omg, I know how you feel! I drove all the way to a park to try and get bird photos when a mom and her kids riding on bikes scared them all off. I saw her twice throughout the park and when she was going to her car she was like "oh, I hope my kids weren't in the way of your photos!". oooh, they were not at. all -_-.
usually people stay away from people with big cameras, I never have someone come up to me and ask "what are you taking pictures of?". daang that sucks. maybe next time? chin up buddy .
unfortunately big lenses here attract people, mostly idiots lol. One of the questions I get asked most is 'Can you photograph the moon with that?' and of course I always say " I can photograph the moon with my iphone'
